ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Meet Jerrianne & Erik Stevens
Veteran-owned and family-grown, Great Sacandaga Brewing Co. began as a passion project in a garage—5 gallons at a time.
Erik, a U.S. Army veteran, found solace and purpose in brewing. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a calling: create clean, intentional beer that actually tasted like something—and meant something too.
Jerrianne, born and raised in the area, brought the vision to life with her background in operations, community organizing, and deep local roots.
Together, they’ve built more than a brewery—they’ve built a legacy.
One that honors Broadalbin’s Scottish heritage.
One that uplifts small farms and local makers.
One that invites everyone—from beer nerds to curious first-timers—to gather, learn, and enjoy.
